Sunrise Escondido Canyon

This is from our land looking up Escondido Canyon. The Woolsey fire left our big oaks in the foreground, though not much else as far as you can see into the Santa Monica mountains. It heals me to paint it. I feel a great tenderness for the landscape in its effort to recover.
